Tarrant Appraisal has been in business since 1965.  The company was started by Elvis Tarrant starting as a Real Estate Sales company and then converting into an appraisal company.  I took over the company in 2005 focusing on real estate appraisal services only.  I specialize in single family residential appraisal services how ever  I do accept various other types of appraisal assignments  to fit your needs.  I have been a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser for 30 years and have the experience to develop a fair market value vale for your  property.

I am Certified in the state of Illinois only.

There are various types of appraisal reports that are used for the purposes of financing, the purchase of real estate, tax abatement ,  estate  planning  divorce cases, estimated fair market value, selling property, land appraisals, and IRS purposes.

I do offer to Realtors, and other interested parties the service of measuring a structure to determine the gross living or gross building area of a dwelling to determine the overall square footage   I do follow the ANSI Z765-2021 standards of measurement.   In some instances this does not match the county square footage of a dwelling as they do not employ this standard of measurement.
